Nobody knows exactly where Ulysses Balls came from. One day the Lord Timmy comic universe simply had an extra guy in the corner of the panel — round, hopeful, and aggressively confident about a trade he absolutely should not have made.
Ulysses is the ride-or-die sidekick: equal parts loyal, ball-obsessed, and catastrophically under-informed. While Lord Timmy plots schemes of dignified chaos, Ulysses is in the back going "just one more entry" with his entire net worth and a single working brain cell.
He's never been right. He's never been early. But he has, against every law of probability, survived — bouncing back panel after panel like the indestructible little sphere he is.
